我打算和我女朋開車友自由行
不知道各位對租車,住宿,行程等等等等,有沒有好的建議
租車哪邊租比較便宜?住宿我們打算找Motel6

I just wanted to ask you why you don't want to consider flying to Vegas? From SF to Vegas there isn't much to see. Plus it's a really long drive, so you might even spend more on gas than to fly...But, once you arrive in Vegas, you can rent a car, drive to the Grand Canyon, the Hoover's Dam, and the historic Route 66.
Also, regarding rental car, you guys should check online instead of asking people who live here...like, we have cars and we don't rent cars!!! It all depends on what kinda car, how long, limited mileage or not, insurance or not, dates to pick up and so on. If you check the websites of Hertz, National, Budget, Avis and Alamo Rental Cars, you are bound to find a deal that you can accept...

對阿!您花了兩天在去vegas的路市上!!不但廢時,又較危險...而 Bakersfield也比較無聊
Las Vegas 計程車多,旅館有bus,主要旅館又都在大街上,如不趕時間也可用逛的,另外vegas大旅館在week day 常有優惠...常便宜過motel!又好玩,又方便(在大街vegas strip上) 又安全:)可查美國旅遊網站找價錢.
另外 vegas有不少靶場可射擊衝鋒槍ㄏㄏ:)

從SF到LV會用租車的主要是我查過
兩個人坐飛機來回的費用大概要400多美金
租車10天大概也是,我是查各租車公司的價格
不過我沒考慮到油錢,現在一加崙多少錢
像我們的行程大概油錢要多少???

油價天天變來變去, 最近從一點六幾到二塊不等吧. 舊金山跟LA的油價差很多.

WAOW, SF to LV's tickets cannot possibly be $400! Did you check Oakland airport to LV, or SFO to LV? It is usually cheaper to go from Oakland Airport--plus public transportation will get you all the way to Oakland airport, whereas SFO you will have to take a shuttle. BTW, it might be because you're flying on Christmas. In which case, you will have to think about where to stay on the way too...

yep, at that time, fly round trip to LAS does cost that much, about $180 per person plus tax...
Why not fly to LA first then drive to Las Vegas? it can save you time and money. it only cost a little over $100 per person.
By the way, Disney opens on Christmas too.

I would wake up early then drive to LA first, so one can still have some fun there. Then from there, drive to LV and come back the same way. Motels at LA are also cheaper than Vegas. So in that case you don't have to WASTE time at Bakersfield (I call it BK, burger king....)

當然到了LA租車又是一筆錢囉!!
回到舊金山我們還想去carmel一帶,所以又要租一次車
這樣好像有點麻煩???
有人開過San jose到Las vegas嗎?
大概要開多久???

Las Vegas 不要住Motel, 像樣的Motel很貴, Strip以外的地方會有妓女, 感覺比較不安全. 所以建議住飯店.
您也可以問問旅行社代訂機票酒店(旅館)大概是多少錢. 也許旅行社可以拿到比較好的價錢. 我們以前問過麗山旅行社, 服務還不錯, 你們可以寫伊媚兒去問問比較一下(不是打廣告, 我們前幾年剛來美時曾看報紙打電話問過, 這家的感覺不錯, 可以試試). http://www.lassentours.com

從SJ到LV, 我已經忘記要開多久了...... 不過八-九個小時跑不掉吧. 我們以前是一口氣就開過去了, 沒在中途過夜..... (當然中間要讓車休息一下, 下車尿尿, 換人開車)

嗯~我剛用Expedia查到兩人--Total price for this trip: $337.00，已含稅，是AA的。然後還看到
$519.11 This flight plus 2 nights at Mirage Resort & Casino.
$395.71 This flight plus 2 nights at Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino.
$436.35 This flight plus 2 nights at Flamingo Las Vegas.
當然，我沒有看細項，不過感覺也還合算。
印像中，一些Bid網站也有便宜的hotel跟機票可以標，而且每天都在波動，你要不要試試呢？
我那時從Seattle去SF玩時，就鎖定幾個web盯了近一個月，然後拿到不錯的價格。
此外，我假設你原本就在美國了。若你是從台灣過去美國玩的，請不要忘記，手上握有國際段，再加美國國內段時，通常只需要加台幣1000~1500元。我那時跟我妹妹就是這樣。她沒有國際段，但我有。所以我就幫妹妹盯緊國內段便宜的票價，然後再請台灣旅行社幫我訂同一航班。當然，要有聯營合作的才有。

我訂UA的班機到SFO可以免費停一區三點
所以我從SFO 來回LA可以免費
不過UA的機票比較貴

It took me around 8 hours. If you leave on 23rd, watch out for the traffics at San Jose in the morning. most of the company still open on 23rd so the traffic can be bad for a few miles.
High way 5 should be faster than 101. I did 143mph once on I-5. ^0^

小弟剛從LV回來.給你點建議.
* LV 一定要住大飯店. 從Expedia 或其他網站, 都可以找到很棒的價格, 高級享受.
小弟住MGM, 服務超好. 切忌不要住什麼 Amrold tower就好.

* 往LV路上有2個outlet, Barstow沒去過,但聽說不錯 , Fashion outlet 離 LV 約半小時. 普通.
個人覺得Gilroy的最棒.

* 越早到LV越好, 事先收集各飯店秀的時間表. 絕對有幫助.整條路很長. 早點出門逛.

* 開車強烈建議使用Yahoo map. 連高速公路的交流道名稱都有說明,很準的.

* Sahara的buffet很便宜, 用coupon中午每人才4.99. 菜色普通. La Paris的氣氛很好. 有帝王蟹, 晚餐23.
