請問地理環境...

Hi, 我五月要帶朋友到SFA自住旅行, 朋友查到長榮有一 package promotion, round trip ticket + 3 nights in Holiday Inn Civic Center, is NT$ 25500, while only the round trip ticket is NT 22048.
The address is 50 8th St. , SAN FRANCISCO, CA 9410
Is it convenient to stay in Holiday Inn Civic Center if we don't have a car?
Is the surrounding area safe enough to let us walk around in late night?
By the way, can someone tell me the info about local tour to Napa Valley and Yosemita?

我很久沒到附近去了, 不過看圖, 那裡的感覺好像不是太好,
civic center 是舊金山流浪漢的集散地, 尤其到了晚上,
成百的流浪漢會回到這裡來睡覺或社交. (很臭)
但離market很近, 交通方面沒有問題.

Market Street 過了第五街之後，就建議不要去住啦！
你那個在第八街，保證你連白天的時後也不會覺得那是一個怡人的地方。
(我跟妹妹白天在Civic Center的劇院門口買百老匯的票，在妹妹開皮包拿信用卡時，
就有Homeless推了一台超市購物車，黏著她，亂恐怖一把，嚇得她當場大叫，
把警衛都引來了。)
關於優勝美地與那帕的local tour，可以去遊客中心拿brochure與coupon，
我沒訂過，不過我猜在出發前一天如果聯絡的上，應該就沒問題了吧？
還有，Hotel的人也可以幫忙訂的樣子，所以不用擔心。

(我今年夏天要重遊SF，我就打算訂這種local tour)

Tanks for all the info you guys offered. We decide not to stay in Holiday Inn Civic Center but to try to book "Pickwick" as most of you recommend.
But the thing is that I cannot find available room for 5 night. The best I can find is 2-nigh stay and guess waht? The rate is quite different from what I learn here. Isteand of $69, $55 and $49, the rate is $129.95 for 5/15 and $99.95 for 5/16. How come?

What else can I try? Mayday, Mayday.........

建議到以下網址搜尋,應該可找到合價位與便利性的旅館.
還有飯店通常週五. 六的價位會比平日高,台灣也是一樣的喔!

I checked the rate just now, it's $55, no $49.

如果你不能拿到55元或以下的價格，我建議你到Priceline標一間4星級Hotel，
也許可以拿到60元以下也不一定。
但是有風險，請小心。
